TCT is one of the world's leading events dedicated to 3D printing, additive manufacturing and product development. This year we welcomed car manufacturers, airlines, sports car teams and healthcare professionals (to name a few) that we can learn from and introduce new production techniques. We were able to demonstrate the latest innovations in additive manufacturing, including samples from the Ricoh AM S5500P, which supports PA6GB Polyamide and Polypropylene polymer.
Ricoh have a long history in laser and jetting technology and a proven track record with a wide range of commercial partners. We invest heavily in additive manufacturing research and development, helping our partners to develop materials and technologies that will shape the future of their business. We offer an end-to-end service, from materials to machines, services, consultation and supporting key projects. Most importantly, we know that every partner has unique needs and offer a fully customisable service, helping you make the most of our expertise - and your ideas.
With its generous build volume, the AM S5500P enables you to produce many components at once, ensuring fast, flexible and cost-effective production. It uses Powder Bed Fusion (or SLS technology) to melt polymer powder to produce parts, and you can choose from a selection of polymer-based materials.
